The 13-foot, tear-shaped electric motor boat can accommodate up to five adults in its jacuzzi seating and comes with a gas-powered, ambience-enhancing fireplace. It’s self-cleaning, self-heating, and can cruise for up to five hours on heavily regulated bodies of water.

With its electric engine, the Spacruzzi is a more eco-friendly watercraft option. “Unlike most power boats on the water, our all-electric propulsion and our patent protected electric and propane heating system do not put pollutants into the air or water,” Kanwetz said in a statement.

While it’s not designed to go far, it is simple to operate, and users can always swap out extra batteries for longer fun. “The boat will not travel more than four or four and a half miles per hour,” notes Kanwetz. “It’s about getting to a space, getting comfortable, and just sitting there. If you’ve never driven a boat, you’re an expert after about 30 seconds.”

The company, which manufactures all its Spacruzzis in its Nevada and Montana facilities, uses a patent-pending UV and saltwater filtration system to circulate and clean water throughout the boat, and an onboard gas fireplace to keep the soaking temperature perfectly pleasant. A ladder connected to the back of the fiberglass hull makes it easy to take a dip in the lake when passengers are ready to cool off.

The floating hot tub’s popularity has been explosive ever since its release. Speaking to a Lake Tahoe news outlet in June, Kanwetz said: “We expected to build a hundred boats this year.” But after a 41-day soft-site opening, the company had completely sold out.

“Since we launched, we’ve seen immediate growth in both our rental and direct-to-consumer sales ,and this is continuing to grow,” Kanwetz said in a separate statement. “As you begin to see more rental operations popping up, we expect the awareness of the product to grow on the national level as more people see that this isn’t just a novelty item, but an experience that can’t be matched on the water.”

At just 1,200 pounds, the Spacruzzi is relatively easy to transport. “We have customers putting these boats on a trailer, along with a generator, and taking them to auto races, concerts, you name it,” Kanwetz adds. The vessel’s onboard heater even converts the local lake into a year-round leisure option. “You’re in the lake, it’s snowing. It’s gentile. It’s a mind-blowing experience. It’s really, really cool.”

Spacruzzis sell for about $50,000 and can be ordered on the company website. They’re available for both rental fleet and individual owner options. Buyers can customize the decking, paint, metal, and wood finishes. Further add-ons include shade towers, floating drink caddies, underwater lights, and trailers. Just be ready to wait a little while for yours, since the company says the construction-to-delivery process can take up to 120 days.

When the real estate agents say it’s one of a kind, they aren’t kidding. The standout feature of the living room is a large two-sided stone fireplace with a floating hearth. Overhead, the long “viga” wood beams enhance the sense of spaciousness, while the diagonal lines of the latilla wood draw the eye to the softly textured walls with built-in display niches.

The kitchen houses a large central island with bar-style seating, wooden cabinetry, high-end appliances, built-in wine storage, and windows overlooking an adjacent terrace. Located inside LA’s Westfield Century City shopping mall, the SKKN pop-up displays small cylindrical and spherical products on huge slabs of cement and alcoves in the smooth, bare walls. Perron-Roettinger co-founder Willo Perron says he drew inspiration from rock quarries when designing the 1,330-square-foot space, bringing in large-scale shapes meant to evoke massive chunks of raw minerals. Instead of contrasting with the products, the setting amplifies their simple, elemental forms.

If the products are a little mysterious, that’s because they’re meant to be. Perron-Roettinger created opaque containers that obscure their contents, with labels like “face cream” and “exfoliator” printed in tiny, barely legible text. The refillable containers are also housed within secondary packaging that’s textured to resemble naturally occurring materials.

“We like how it feels to hold a ceramic mug, the natural color of a clay pot, what it feels like to run your hand through sand, and all the different shades and textures of limestone quarry,” Perron-Roettinger co-founder Brian Roettinger told It’s Nice That.

Staying within the same limited gray and beige color palette, Kardashian’s SKKN Home Accessories Collection is also on display at the LA pop-up. The five-piece houseware collection aims to capture the “calming aesthetic and neutral color palette of Kardashian’s home.” All made of hand-poured concrete, the collection consists of a vanity tray, spherical storage container, waste basket, tissue box, and a canister with a lid.

“I knew I wanted to complement my skincare collection with home accessories, designed to display my products and elevate the home with modern, minimalistic elegance,” Kardashian says. “When designing this collection, I wanted to bring the monochromatic interior design elements from my home to others. I’m excited to be able to share this collection with everyone.”

The SKKN pop-up shop will remain in place until the end of the year. As stark as the interior design and products may be, there’s no confusing the store for that of any other brand. Two enormous digital displays splashed with Kim’s face bookend the space, reminding shoppers what they’re really there for: a little bit of bottled essence du nouveau riche.

Willo Perron previously designed a pop-up store for Kardashian’s brand of undergarments, SKIMS, in 2021. Located on the ground floor of the Parisian department store Galeries Lafayette Paris Haussmann, the store was similarly smooth, beige, and low on embellishments, but drew inspiration from the hues and curves of human bodies instead of stone. The same design was repeated for a second pop-up store in Los Angeles later that year.

Enter Taylor Swift’s former New York residence, a charming carriage house in Greenwich Village which the songstress rented as recently as 2016. Situated in one of NYC’s most iconic neighborhoods, the five-story former pop palace is perhaps most famous as the subject of her song “Cornelia Street,” in which she refers to the early days of her relationship with the actor Joe Alwyn. The townhouse is situated on the quaint (you guessed it) Cornelia Street near Washington Square Park. At the time of Swift’s living there, it was owned by former Soho House executive David Aldea, who according to Vulture didn’t even know who Swift was when she asked to rent the property while renovations were being made to her own Tribeca apartment.

Upon first glance, 23 Cornelia Street is easily overlooked from the street. With an unassuming brick facade and wooden doors, the property doesn’t exactly scream “glamour.” Swift herself supposedly chose the townhouse because of its private garage, through which she could enter and exit in relative peace (though devoted Swifties naturally discovered where she was staying at the time).

Built in 1899, the historic home is a sprawling 5,500-square-foot dream of luxe grandiosity and glam touches that are very fitting for a star of Swift’s caliber. The basement alone is an airy, seemingly sky-high ceilinged lounge complete with a queenly glass chandelier, a private garden, indoor pool, and gym area. But it’s the townhouse’s living room which undoubtedly holds the most appeal for fans, as it’s featured in a video Swift posted of herself at the time writing the song “King of my Heart.”

During her tenure at 23 Cornelia Street, Swift reportedly used up the entire home, which boasts a total of four bedrooms and six bathrooms. It’s hard not to picture her using the sumptuous primary bedroom, complete with a small terrace and free-standing bath, or spending time on the rooftop terrace with her beau (as she sings in “King”: “With all these nights we’re spending/Up on the roof…”).

The home most recently sold in 2019 for a whopping $11.5 million. Today it’s unoccupied by residents, but instead serves as a “corporate house” for the Italian furniture company Zanotta. The Pioneer station will have a capacity of 28 guests, with areas for work and recreation. The Voyager will be much larger, with room for 400 guests, and will open sometime in 2027. Both space resorts will offer some semblance of gravity for patrons, thanks to their spinning circular designs.

“The station rotates, pushing the contents of the station out to the perimeter of the station, much in the way that you can spin a bucket of water — the water pushes out into the bucket and stays in place,” said architect and Orbital Assembly COO Tim Alatorre in an interview with CNN. This engineering will allow for comfortable dining and bar experiences as well as traditional sleeping positions.

However, the fun of weightlessness will still be an option for extraplanetary travelers. The gravitational pull will decrease as one moves along the station’s spokes toward the center. The degree of gravity will also depend on the hotel’s rotation speed.

“The interiors of Pioneer station, in particular, are designed to function in both zero gravity and partial gravity,” Alatorre explains. “They are highly flexible to respond to the needs of a variety of tenants on the station.”

The Voyager plans also call for a zero-gravity basketball court where guests can fly through the air and dunk like their favorite NBA stars.

In terms of the length of stay, the company envisions guests coming for a long weekend among the stars. “We expect the duration to be as little as four days or as long as two weeks,” says Rhonda Stevenson, Orbital Assembly CEO. “It depends on cost and also the ability to acclimate to a space environment.” Both space inns will include office areas for those seeking longer-term accommodations.

While no daily price has been announced, it is likely to be prohibitive in the beginning. The Voyager Station itself will run $200 billion in construction and launching costs. Travel + Leisure reported that a three-and-a-half-day stay might be as much as $5 million. However, that may not be as outrageous as it sounds, as it currently costs $55 million to stay at the International Space Station for any length of time. And Virgin Galactic is planning to charge $450,000 for a trip into the Milky Way that lasts just 90 minutes.

Orbital Assembly maintains that space travel will eventually become accessible to enough people that prices will be comparable to those of cruise tickets. Alatorre assures, “The goal has always been to make it possible for large amounts of people to live, work, and thrive in space.” The Pioneer hotel especially will allow “people [to] start to experience space on a larger scale, faster.”

Dubbed “Moon World Resorts,” the idea is to recreate the Moon on a grand scale right here on our home planet, no rocket trip required. As Moon World Resorts co-founder Michael R. Henderson recently told CNN Travel, the moon is a “recognizable brand…seven and a half billion people know it, everybody loves it.” He hopes his ambitious idea will spur travelers everywhere to flock to the spacey, ultra-luxurious new hotel.

Though the project itself has been in development for nearly 20 years, artist renderings envision a futuristic space where guests can enjoy all the perks of a traditional top-notch resort while pretending they’e floating in a far-off space station. Of course, no trip to the moon would be complete without a space walk. A lunar experience inside the hotel will allow guests to simulate the feeling of actually walking on the moon. As Henderson says, “we will give you the ability in your lifetime to walk on what you believe will be the lunar surface.”

Unfortunately, as with most architecture projects of this scale and scope, Moon World Resorts has also come with its share of “tremendous technical challenges,” according to Henderson. He’s currently working with co-founder Sandra G. Matthews alongside “independent engineers and architects to make the concept a reality,” according to CNN Travel.

If all goes according to plan, the Canada-based entrepreneurs plan on eventually expanding Moon World Resorts to other continents, too. This will depend largely on securing licensees willing to invest in the project — but as we now know all too well, it’s pretty hard for rich people to say “no” to space.

For his part, Henderson remains hopeful that Moon World Resorts will eventually get past the conceptual stage and become a full-on reality. He believes that the first hotel could open as early as 2027 as “a destination in its own right,” drawing visitors from around the globe who want to experience the thrill of the final frontier from the comfort of the planet they know and love.

Formerly known as Harman Hall, the Cherry Creek North gem was built at the turn of the 20th century and is an integral part of Denver history. Often referred to as the city’s most iconic residence, the building served as a town hall before being converted into a stylish residence. However, like many buildings of its age, this Colorado landmark also has its secrets, including a former speakeasy (a remnant of the days of Prohibition, when passwords and hidden rooms were the norm). Today, the expansive home is a renovated dream space on the market for approximately $15 million, making it by far the priciest listing in the area.

Purchased by Pat Hamill, CEO of Oakwood Homes, the historic residence certainly needed a little TLC. Hamill was just the man to return the home to its former glory. After an epic 2010 expansion and renovation, the former Harman Hall is now a contemporary residence that retains nods to its iconic past, complete with authentic turn-of-the-century touches like reclaimed wood and blast-from-the-past patterns.

For his part, Hamill felt that the “iconic home” was special, and certainly worth all the trouble. In addition to expanding the residence’s square footage by approximately 7,000 square feet and gutting the interior, he also paid homage to the house’s past by restoring its original red brick facade. In a nod to the former speakeasy, Hamill also transformed the lowest level into a private event space fit for Prohibition-era partying, though it now hosts charity events and gathering rather than secret social meetings.

The former speakeasy also has another more modern function. Connecting to an underground showroom with space for up to 10 cars, the space serves as a showcase for grandeur and luxury, complete with a hydraulic lift and connecting three-car garage.

Though replete with modern touches like heated wood floors, floor-to-ceiling doors, and elevators, the former Harman Hall remains an iconic cornerstone of Denver architecture. Now a sprawling luxury residence, the historic home retains much of its turn-of-the-century charm with nods to the past that can be seen everywhere from its restored brick facade to its speakeasy-turned-entertainment space. And while you may not need a secret handshake or code word to enter this majestic manor, you do need a cool $15 million to make it your own. But perhaps that’s price worth paying for this unique piece of Denver history.

With the help of their team, Lead Design Partners José Cláudio Silva and Peter Barrett effectively created that image with the curved, double-paned glass superstructure. And thanks to lower semi-circular tiers, the profile of the resort also closely resembles the silhouette of a luxury yacht.

Located in the Bai Trao District on the northwest edge of Hon Thom Island, the resort will be owned and operated by the Sun Group. Its “integrated resort and hospitality” features will spread along 50 acres of the tropical archipelago, picturesquely nestled between coastal beaches and lush mountain jungles.

The resort’s visual beacon, the tower sail will house luxury suites across the curvature of its double-skin glass facade, giving guests premium views of both the watery horizon and the forested hillside slopes. Visitors can also enjoy a ship deck-shaped viewing area and native gardens on lower floors, connecting the fluid sailing vibe of the tower to the resort’s main levels.

Guests will be able to access the resort through multiple travel methods: there are dozens of private and VIP marinas, a public jetty, a helipad, and a cable car route connecting the island to the larger neighboring island of Phu Quoc.

The greater resort will include luxury hotels, townhouses, beachside and clifftop residential villas, as well as beach clubs and water sports, all with stunning panoramas of the Gulf of Thailand. A host of infinity pools, gardens, linear parks, and coastal promenades helps to “blur the boundary between nature and architecture.” Public spaces, pool decks, and retail stores will be covered in rustic shingled roofs, exposed woodwork, and natural stone to further obscure the line between the natural and the manmade. At its northernmost end, a Fisherman’s wharf will support retail shops and walkways, designed into glass volumes attached to stone blocks made to look like they are rising out of the sea.

While the new show car is intended to compete with top-tier sedans like the Rolls-Royce Ghost and the Bentley Flying Spur, the Cadillac team intentionally gave the Celestiq a sleeker and sportier look. “There’s a lot of premium incumbent brands in that space, and they tend to be traditional in their execution of a tall, upright sedan,” says Michael Simcoe, General Motors’ Vice President of Global Design. “And, of course, we will be measured against those. But playing in that space doesn’t make sense. Simply put, why would you go and do the same thing as someone else?”

Instead, the Cadillac designers looked to the company’s past for inspiration, finding it in the individualized V-16 pre-war sedans, as well as the hand-built 1957 Eldorado Brougham.

“Those vehicles represented the pinnacle of luxury in their respective eras, and helped make Cadillac the standard of the world,” says Chief Engineer Tony Roma in a press release. “The Celestiq show car — also a sedan, because the configuration offers the very best luxury experience — builds on that pedigree and captures the spirt of arrival they expressed.”

The Celestiq’s Ultium-based electric motor freed the designers from conventional constraints of engine, transmission, and gas tank placement. “Going into the E.V. platform was an opportunity to kind of reimagine how that manifests itself in the brand,” says Erin Crossley, Design Director for the Celestiq. “And I think a lot of how we approach that was almost like a clean sheet of paper. Kind of leaning into the technology and the things that it enables.”

The EV engine is expected to provide a 0 to 60 mile-per-hour sprint in just three seconds, and hold a range-per-charge of 400 miles.

Among the cutting-edge interior additions are five interactive LED displays. A massive 55-inch diagonal screen spans the entire dash, while smaller versions sit in between the front and back seats and in front of each backseat passenger.

Thanks to the use of Suspended Particle Device (SPD), the Celestiq will feature an industry-first roof that changes opacity separately in four segments, each corresponding to one of the seats below. In addition to being able to personalize overhead lighting, the front display also allows each passenger to activate electronic digital blinds for maximum privacy as desired.

Another industry record setter is GM’s proprietary Ultra Cruise system, which allows drivers to cruise hands-free on hundreds of thousands of mapped highways. Design-wise, the sedan features quilted leather seats, satin-polished aluminum trim, and real wood veneer. The exterior is long, low, and wide, with red lightning bolts of rear lighting.

Although a prototype of the Celestiq was recently captured in spy shots, they’re not expected to officially roll out until later in 2022, with a reported base price of around $300,000.

Towering 1,640 feet above sea level, the city will be 656 feet across and occupy a total of about 13 square miles, according to a recent article by CNN.

Itself part of the Neom project (a larger mega-development backed by billions from the Saudi government that began in 2019), the Line is just the latest in a series of developments, architectural projects, and cultural reforms collectively referred to as “Vision 2030,” a plan aimed at making Saudi Arabia a vacation hotspot on par with its neighbors Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Critics have repeatedly cited the country’s human rights record as a somewhat disturbing backdrop to this rebrand.

The crown jewel of Vision 2030 was the earlier announcement of the Red Sea Project. Itself a plan to dramatically transform the desert into a luxe island and mountain resort with its own airport, the development would undoubtedly become a bastion for billionaires, and a huge boon for the Saudi economy.

But The Line may even outshine this mega development. A high-tech paradise featuring its own high-speed rail, the vertical city will also be largely sustainable. “Powered by green energy and run with the aid of artificial intelligence…robot maids, flying taxis, and a giant artificial moon” are just some of the proposed features mentioned in the press release.

Ambitious? Yes. Dystopian? A little. Imminent? Probably, though undoubtedly years into the next decade. As Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman recently said in a press release, “[The Line] designs…will challenge the traditional, flat horizontal cities and create a model for nature preservation and enhance human livability.”

Whatever the outcome, it’s clear that Saudi Arabia is carving out a path for itself to be a world leader in both sustainable development and global tourism with this towering techno dream that even George Jetson would approve of.

Starting in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, the Paris-based makers of the famous Birkin bag set up shop in a vintage commercial warehouse, drenching the space in iconic orange and inviting guests to sign up for workout classes every hour from 11 am to 6 pm during the space’s four-day run.

Of course, these sweat sessions were no ordinary sports fare. The Hermès website invited patrons to “practice stretching with belts, yoga with silk scarves, and voguing with hats!” Visitors were asked to choose one of three brand bracelets to wear during shadowboxing instruction. The instructors, dressed completely in Hermès’ signature orange, encouraged participants to “think elegantly” as they jabbed, crossed, and kicked. A display of Hermès products was also reflected in the studio mirror for all to ogle during the workout.

In a class called “Mirror Mirror with Small Leather Goods,” visitors were handed Kelly wallets with the brand’s signature “H” gold buckle to clutch while they aerobically leaped and jumped in circles.

Billed as an “unconventional event” where “fitness meets fashion,” the pop-up Hermèsfit gym flexed its muscles in places like Bangkok, Paris, Shanghai, Tokyo, and Taiwan. In July, it ended its first run at the famous Hollywood Athletic Club. Designed in 1924 by the same architects that created Grauman’s Chinese Theatre and the Egyptian Theatre, this swanky locale formerly played host to the calisthenics of early stars like Charlie Chaplin, Clark Gable, and even Walt Disney.

For the Hollywood event, Hermès converted the space into an orange fantasy, with large graphic motifs in the style of ancient Greek athletes. Barbells in the shape of high-fashion shoes sat atop a weight bench, while a climbing wall worked double time as photo booth. For those less inclined to cardio, a juice bar and a giant circular ping pong table in bright orange were also available. Punching bags were wrapped in silk carré scarves, and athletic shoes and hats were strategically placed on walls to be touched, admired, and desired by patrons.

By night, the gym transformed into a dance club, with the boxing ring serving as a stage for performances by acts like the L.A. Dance Project, Neal Francis, Pearl and The Oysters, DJ Erez, and Spill Tab.

The limited Hermèsfit event is going Down Under next, with a booking in Sydney from October 14th to 16th at Hordern Pavilion in Moore Park.

For those unable to attend a live event, Maison Hermès has an entire line of goods to help you “choose your own choreography.” Visitors can browse the collection on the Hermèsfit webpage, including things like the $1,225 Freestyle Sneakers, the $480 La Selle Imaginaire scarf, or the sporty $365 Glenan H bracelet.

Hermès has a long and illustrious history as a brand. Initially established in 1837 as a saddle and saddle bag purveyor, they’ve gone on to make a name for themselves in high-fashion leather goods, homeware, and lifestyle accessories. Teitelbaum and co-founder Akiva Alpert knew they wanted the shoe to be sustainable, and that the sex toy angle would ramp up excitement about the design. The brand spent nearly two years working on a process that could turn sex toys that didn’t meet Doc Johnson’s quality standards into a truly wearable shoe.

“When we started the design process, I wanted to create something that was both timeless and exceptionally useful,” Teitelbaum told Paper. “Turns out, we produced a shoe that’s more comfortable than any shoe on the market, and just like our collaborations, the piece tells a story. We hope the shoe will transcend time and inspire a new perspective on upcycling.”

The process grinds the former sex toys into tiny millimeter-sized chunks of thermoplastic elastomer mixed with non-bleach EVA (ethylene-vinyl acetate) foam, which is then injection-molded into the shape of the shoe. The Plastic Soul is a single-piece slip-on white shoe that sort of resembles an elevated, more stylish high-fashion version of Crocs.

“We are so proud of this partnership with Rose In Good Faith to promote sex positivity through fashion and innovation,” says Doc Johnson’s COO Chad Braverman. “It was important to us that we create a shoe that was conscious of environmental impact, which is why we are beyond thrilled to make these using our upcycled sex toy materials. We can’t wait to get these out in the world as part of our global movement to de-stigmatize sexual health and wellness.”

Perhaps some consumers will immediately be turned off by the idea of wearing former sex toys on their feet. But Rose in Good Faith is betting that it’ll be a selling point for their youthful clientele, who care about the environment just as much as they care about looking cool. “We are intersected between our community of hyper-progressive individuals and the broader luxury-fashion industry,” Alpert told Forbes. “You’ll see our fits worn in the mosh pit of a trap-metal show and in the streets during Paris Fashion week.“

Rose in Good Faith’s previous collaborations have included a six-piece luxury collection reviving 90s cult classic JNCO jeans as a series of bright baggy unisex garments, an Ed Hardy collection targeting early-aughts nostalgia, and a Greenpeace-themed capsule collection in partnership with the estate of late rapper Lil Peep.

BettePlaces is “bathroom architecture in another dimension,” imagining the company’s bathrooms as micro-houses and dramatic monuments within three different landscapes: the remote snowy cliffs of Mount Fuji, the otherworldly alien landscape of “Orbit,” and the white sands of Miami Beach.

Dream Bathroom Locales

Mount Fuji shows off the company’s angular Comodo and Ultra series within a minimalist wood-lined micro hut. Graphic black fixtures echo the hut’s charred “shou sugi ban” exterior and stand out against the pale interior cladding. “Natural materials such as spruce and white enamel create the basis for a warm, relaxed bathroom. In combination with dark smoked glass and soft cotton, the result is a natural fusion of colors and textures. Gentle purism that radiates pleasant tranquility and modern restraint.”

Orbit focuses on futuristic geometries contrasted against stony terrain for its BetteArt bath and BetteArt washbasins, which break down the components of standard bathroom fixtures to pure elegance. “In combination with the roughness of the surrounding scenery, the result is an exciting interplay between strong structure and soft lines that blends gently with shiny silver details,” the company explains. “Opposites have never attracted each other more stylishly.”

Miami takes a more cosmopolitan approach, and one flooded with light. Featuring BetteLux Oval as the central architectural highlight, this bathroom envisioned as a cabana on the beach aims to elicit thoughts of warm breezes and fresh salt air. The company explains that it’s “on the border between modernity and postmodernism,” using edges and circles in tandem with naturally flowing lines to create design elements that feel like “little islands of relaxation.”

Custom Showroom Spaces in Real Life

Bette has translated this idea to its real-life showroom, too. Created by design studio Atelier 522, he new BettePlaces at the company’s headquarters in Delbrück, Germany has created a series of built environments in which individual bathrooms are displayed, most strikingly a round rammed earth structure that looks like a sculptural work of art someone stumbled upon in the desert. Little wooden house-shaped rooms, brightly colored cubes, and tranquil bamboo-lined spaces reminiscent of Japanese spas allow you to imagine all the different ways you could decorate your own bathroom at home around Bette’s products.

“Made from a wide variety of materials, such as concrete, clay plaster, or Yakisugi-charred spruce wood, each bathroom possesses a very specific aesthetic and constructional situation, with Bette products as the highlight,” explains Atelier 522 CEO Philipp Beck. “Product design and architecture merge, showing in the finest detail how good design can draw everything together: from the spaces in which we live, and their individual architecture, to the center of the home – the bathroom.”

Now, Gucci’s former HQ at the historic and high-end Grafton Street in Mayfair, London has come on the market for a whopping $66 million. The last private residence remaining on the prestigious street, the mansion is currently owned by a trust and has undergone extensive renovations since the brand vacated in 2010. But the property itself remains as gorgeous as ever, and much of the 14,000 square-foot home’s most modern touches remain much as they were during Gucci’s tenure.

There’s plenty of history in this former headquarters. Its recent refurbishing by Donald Insall Associates, though extensive, left much of the building’s original features untouched, including gold plaster work by Joseph Rose, cabinetry by John Mayhew, Georgian fireplaces, and 20-foot tall ceilings, all Victorian-era details that were part of the original home designed by Sir Robert Taylor in the 1770s.

These luxe touches certainly speak to the property’s illustrious past, not only as an HQ for Gucci from 2000 through 2010, but also as a house (literally) fit for royalty. During Gucci’s residence. Creative Director Tom Ford’s workspace was located in the first floor drawing room, a luxe and palatial space once used to entertain none other than Her Majesty Queen Victoria.

However, the spacious property also has plenty of modern touches, including a sauna, swimming pool, and plunge pool; a movie theater; a convenient elevator; a fully-equipped kitchen; and a stringent automated security system.

During Gucci’s residence, the top floor was reserved for the office of former CEO Domenico De Sole. Today, the top two floors consist of four VIP bedrooms, including a well-appointed main suite/lounge area complete with a private study, bathroom, and kitchenette. Elsewhere on this floor, a private wing houses additional guest bedrooms packed with their own top-notch perks. The mid-level floors—once home to Gucci personnel — contain an additional five bedrooms and bathrooms now reserved for the residence’s current live-in staff.

The ground and first floor — once the home’s hub for entertaining royalty and distinguished guests — remain as a series of sumptuous reception and drawing rooms, in addition to a lavish dining room, many of which were previously used as Gucci meeting areas and boardrooms.
