Non-Member Plan
If you want to try out Feather on a short-term basis as a non-member, all you have to do is make a three-month commitment. This option is perfect for those who frequently change residences or just want to sample some new decorating options.
Delivery and assembly cost $99, regardless of how many pieces you order. Every time you make a change (i.e., return, add, or switch out one or more pieces), it costs another $99. Still, all the furniture you do rent during your three months as a non-member are generously discounted.
Annual Membership Plan
People looking to frequently change up their environment are ideal candidates for Feather’s annual membership plan. When you sign up for this option, your first delivery and set-up is totally free, as is your first order change. As with the non-member plan, all these rental payments still go towards purchasing the pieces, and additional changes are still $99 each. The membership itself costs $19 each month, but that figure quickly pays for itself since all the rental fees are discounted much more deeply, sometimes by as much as 75 percent.

Changes
Feather defines a “change” as any time their delivery/set-up team comes to your home to swap out items, take back items you want returned, or deliver new pieces. The $99 fee applies regardless of the number of items involved.
Switching Residences
If your new home is located in the delivery area, Feather will personally move all the pieces you have from them for $198. This cost is based on the two trips required for the move, and it includes the option of switching out items to give your new place a whole new look.
Purchasing Feather Furniture
Whether you’re a full-fledged member or just testing the waters, all of your rental payments to Feather can be applied to purchasing. If you want to own a piece outright before the contract expires, just pay off the remaining balance.
Early Cancellation
Circumstances sometimes necessitate canceling your Feather service in less than three months. If you do cancel before your commitment is fulfilled, they’ll pick up your furniture for free, but you will incur an additional cancellation fee.
Furniture Condition
A high percentage of Feather furniture is brand new, but some of their trendier pieces may have already been used by other subscribers. Every piece that’s been previously rented undergoes a meticulous inspection for damage and is thoroughly sanitized before being rented to a new customer.
