The simple square packs are familiar, but inside that boring box is a fun variety pack of neon yellow, orange, pink, blue, green and purple post-its that can be rearranged in any fashion you desire. That means you can play endless games of Tetris with all the notes you and your family members jot down – and, if you have ADHD, continue to ignore the reminders despite staring right at them. Hurray!

Seriously though, these note pads are as smart as they are fun. Not only are they pleasing to look at and practical in terms of a variety of sizes, they turn reminders into a game, which makes us more likely to engage with them. And we could all use something to mindlessly play with while we’re on the phone. Love them? More from the designers

“Reminders can be boring, that’s more or less a fact – and video games can be entertaining. All that needs to be done is to combine the two into an interactive memory pad that fuses a way to take notes and memos, with the thrills and spills [of gaming] … and since it’s over ten years old it can be legitimately classed as ‘retro’, which means it can automatically be classed as cool, which means we can feel justified in producing these cool, retro, block sticky notes. Where is more apt to note down reminders than elements of old video games rendered in pale yellow paper – evoking memories from your youth while jogging your memory.” (Block Notes from Suck UK)
