]]> Gourmia showcased a number of new countertop kitchen appliances at last week’s Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, the most exciting of which took the form of a snazzy new smart multi-cooker. Retailing for just $150, the 11-in-1 Deluxe Multi-Cooker works in tandem with virtual assistants like Siri and Amazon Alexa and an accompanying smartphone app to respond to all kinds of remote commands. The company also featured their sous vide cooker, air fryer, and coffee maker at CES, proving several times over just how good they are at making the chaos of everyday life a little more manageable.

Scheduled for release sometime in early 2019, the multi-cooker is capable of baking, slow cooking, roasting, braising, steaming, stewing, sautéing, sous viding, warming, and making rice, with built-in adjustable presets giving the cook as much control over the cooking experience as possible.

The 11-in-1 also boasts a heat-resistant glass lid (so you can check on your food without having to release any warm air), stainless steel sous vide rack, LCD display, nonstick interior pot (which means rice won’t get stuck to the inside), and fun recipe book to fuel your new culinary hobby! All of Gourmia’s products are ETL Listed, so we can assure you that they’re completely safe even when they’re performing the most intensive of tasks.

The mobile app is free to download on any iOS or Android device and allows the user to automate their countertop kitchen appliances from almost anywhere in the world. Mia is Gourmia’s equivalent to Alexa, and when they’re working alongside each other, you start to feel like you’re in the virtual assistant version of Three’s Company. You’ll find yourself saying things like: “Hey Alexa, ask Mia to turn the temperature up on the slow-cooker.”
