Picture dress patterns … applied to furniture. What is remarkable is not so much the design as the fact that no one previously made this simple logical leap.

Pål Rodenius created 2440×1220 Saw, Assemble to enable anyone to quickly and easily cut out a variety of shapes that in turn can be turned into various simple and useful furniture items. Tables, chairs, benches, beds, nightstands and coat racks … you name it and it is there on the sheet somewhere.

For now, the creator sells plywood boards with the markings already on them, but the long-term plan is to simply print out large-scale stickers so anyone can simply slap them on a board and be ready to build.
