It is great to have garden lamps that glow at night after charging during the day, but despite their natural energy source they can seem a little artificial at times – hence these more organic forms by Emma Caselton.

“The solar garden lamp, with six illuminating petals, is suspended by use of it’s cable. The ‘petals’ are made from transparent solar cells, and each one is embedded with an LED, making the solar panels the decorative element as well as the power source.”

Instead of simply sticking out of the ground at regular intervals, these can be hung whimsically, grouped together or scattered apart – they also look rather nice indoors as swell.
