Modular Tetris Shelves Were Just Waiting to be Made Real

It was only a matter of time until someone produced not just one set but enough to line a whole wall with Tetris-piece-shaped shelving units.

Laurent Burel kept things relatively simple for the most part: black-painted and exposed-edge composite boards shaped just like the game pieces.

The essential five units can, however, be stacked in all kinds of creative ways, leaving voids as well as densely-packed sets of shelves.

For a bit of contrast and additional functionality, optional glass was thrown into the mix, too, for the long pieces, as well as drawers and doors for the square shapes.
