Etsy probably isn’t the first place you’d look when buying a new house. But when you search for “tiny house” on the handmade goods retail platform, you come up with more than just plans to build your own. A new, colorful house on wheels inspired by Dutch artist Piet Mondrian is among the actual built homes you can purchase on Etsy, and it sure is cute.

Designed and hand built by Kentucky architect Nathan of Studio 513 Designs, the “MonDreamOn” house is a studio that’ll certainly stand out in just about any setting. Measuring 20 feet long, 8.5 feet wide, 13 feet high, and 170 square feet, the tiny house features a singleton’s loft, kitchenette, and a bathroom with a shower and compost toilet.

The back end of the house is full of windows and glass French doors to bring daylight streaming into the interiors, which are finished in gray and white tones for a soothing contrast to the bright exterior. It’s just big enough for a single person who doesn’t have a lot of stuff (or do a lot of entertaining).

For $40,000, you can take the “MonDreamOn” house as it is, or pay an extra $10,000 for a solar generator, Mondrian-inspired shower tiles, furniture, kitchen appliances, and plumbing with a propane water heater. It is located in Kentucky, however, so the lucky buyer will likely have to fly out there and take it on an epic journey back home, wherever that may be.

What else can you find on Etsy for a similar price point? You might be surprised. There are other, slightly more conventional tiny houses, like a farm-style model in Phoenix, Arizona, also at a price tag of $40,000. You can also buy a prefab modular kit for a modern beach house from MagikMania that provides all construction materials, complete installation drawings, building assistance, shipping, insulation, electricity, and plumbing for $45,000.

Then there’s a company called Tiny Town Studios, which has all sorts of fun and unexpected offerings, albeit mostly ones you probably wouldn’t want to live in. Their offbeat creations look like something you might find at an amusement park, ranging from $2,500 for a fairytale playhouse up to $50,000 for an “exotic treehouse” or a working grist mill with a water wheel, the latter of which is actually a two-story tiny home with a rustic look.

These listings mostly just represent custom projects the company already completed that they’re willing to recreate, but they’re also able to create entirely new custom designs based on your own ideas. If you’ve been dreaming about making your own backyard look like a new hillbilly-themed area of Disney World, here’s your chance.

If you prefer the more refined, modern aesthetics of Mondrian, there’s plenty more De Stijl-inspired design where “MonDreamOn” came from. Check out a whole collection of Mondrian-themed furniture designs and home decor, including couches, lamps, beanbag chairs, decorative trays, and bookcases, all of which express a particular affinity for the master artist’s famous piece Composition with Large Red Plane, Yellow, Black, Gray, and Blue (1921).
