Competition for customers in the realm of brick-and-mortar business grows ever fiercer as online retailers make shopping from home simpler. But buying things is only one dimension of the consumer experience – entertainment can be a whole other story.

Set in Warsaw, Poland, this living-room-like store was designed by Smallna in collaboration with multiple artists for the brand Risk. The topsy-turvy layout was not a whim, but rather inspired by the reversible apparel sold by the brand, and its signature gray color schemes.

The faux floor above features furniture you would expect to find on the ground, as well as other strategically placed clothing items and home decor elements to help complete the illusion. In fact, as you may or may not have noticed: some of the photos you just saw are themselves upside-down!
