We all hate to see traffic cones on the way to work in the morning, those universal orange-and-white hazard symbols that signify certain delays – except, perhaps, when you spot them sitting atop your breakfast table.

Pierre Lescop has designed a set of breakfast dishware around this recognizable shape and color scheme, with a stacked tower that slowly shrinks as it moves upward from a base plate through a set of bowls and cups at the very top.

While there is no stated reason for this rhythmic set of cups, saucers and cereal bowls to be patterned after a traffic cone, even without the cultural reference these make for a pleasing self-storage set of morning food-consumption essentials.
