Interior corners can be one of the most vexing places in interior spaces to design in or around. Round furniture in particular never sits neatly against the wall – but what if you divided an ordinarily curved light fixture cleanly into fourths? The result: a neat visual effect coupled with a useful cornerning lamp.

While it can stand alone as well, this design is naturally suited for the intersections of right-angle interior walls – whether it be the taller standing floor lamp or the smaller work lamp made for desks and tables.

This visually provocative design by Ji Young Shon is intended not only to save space but also to make it possible to turn corners into more creative places.
