You know you are having a ‘first world problem’ when one fully-story luxury penthouse is just not enough. Sporting over eight thousand square feet of space, calling this bridge-connected glass penthouse glamorous would be an epic understatement.

Located in London and (for sale!) priced in the eight-figure range, one could for a moment still fail to notice these connected mega-structures – for all their glorious ultra-modernism, the facades visible from the street are shaped much like traditional mansard roofs (save for the fenestration).

High-up as well as high-end, much of their marvel-worthy architecture is tucked inside, or set atop the open-air, green rooftop decks – even the glass bridge (dazzling up close) looks somewhat understated from below.

From within, a repetitive series of punched-steel beams curve up to support the exterior window system, providing copious amounts of daylight while establishing architectural rhythms throughout the home.

Each unit could ultimately be individually owned, given the plethora of bathrooms, bedrooms and living spaces set on either side, but splitting up such a wonderful complex would be a shame, too. Designed by Richard Hywel Evans Architects

“With key design features including the radical use of moulded glass, a gull-wing door and exposed steel framework, Studio RHE have created a extension which is futuristic and yet discreetly sympathetic to it’s historic location. Situated in one of London’s most desirable addresses, interlinking glass walkways and outdoor balcony spaces offer uninterrupted views of the City of London.”
