Life is hard. Sometimes we want to roll up into a ball and … now we have the option of escaping into the cuddly embrace of a taco.

Called the Blandito, this soft, transformable seat/pad/pillow/taco chair can fold or wrap in a variety of ways to get you all snug and cozy for a little snooze or downtime. And yes, it is indeed shaped like a tortilla, although its thickness would suggest a pupusa. The taco shape comes into play when you adjust its loops and wooden tapestry balls to create various configurations for solo chillaxing or spooning – such as a chair, bean bag or comfy rug.

The inspiration for Oradaria Design? “A fabric stockist, a do-it-yourself shop, an ironmongery, a sewing machine, a hammer, 2 sprays, a garden hose, 2 foam sheets, 20 eyelets, 8 kg of  polyester staple fiber, 4 tapestry wooden balls, 2 m of elastic cord, a lot of patience, fantasy, enthusiasm and sleepless nights.”

We were sold as soon as we heard “taco.” So were others. But rumor has it the Blandito is currently sold out.
