This analog backlash to the latest high-tech trends is not surprising, as music lovers (and people in general) often prefer physical objects that embody certain experiences and elements of nostalgia — something which has definitely prompted an increase in vinyl sales over the past few years. But what if you could have the best of both worlds in a single audio device? Meet the Kozmophone: a reimagining of the phonograph with a few contemporary and novelty twists.

The Kozmophone is a new listening device that bears the iconic bugle-shaped speaker of the phonograph and a turntable to play records on, but it also has the added perks of being Bluetooth-enabled and having a quirky little transparent pod on it where a selection of holograms can be downloaded from the company website and displayed! The Kozmophone is a modern interpretation of a classic concept, and as such, it has streamlined many of the phonograph’s original features and brought them into the 21st century. The entire apparatus is compact in size and features a plinth on which the turntable, needle, and hologram pod are fixed. The horn-shaped speaker is set into the base of the hologram podium and extends out over the turntable, but the real beauty of the Kozmophone is that this speaker has flexible positioning and can be configured in a number of ways to project sound in whichever direction you need it to, offering 360 degrees of audio on demand!

The look and feel of the new phonograph are some of its other exciting aspects. Available in a range of colors including black, white, red, blue, yellow, and green, the matte appearance of the podium and speaker creates a unifying and contemporary aesthetic, meaning that not only will the Kozmophone provide with you great sound and a fun listening experience thanks to its hologram feature, but it will also look great in almost any home. The original phonograph often doubled as a feature piece in sitting and living rooms, and the Kozmophone is no different in that respect!
