2020 may seem like the longest year ever, but fall is right around the corner, and for many of us, that’s going to mean the chance to get extra cozy at home. Sick of looking at the same old stuff you were stuck with in quarantine all spring? Now’s a great time to start browsing for replacements.

If the rustic-but-refined look is your style, Chip and Joanna Gaines of HGTV “Fixer Upper” fame probably have just what you need among the new 175-piece fall collection from their brand, Magnolia. But don’t assume you won’t find pieces that fit into your home among these gems, even if you prefer industrial chic, boho, or midcentury modern. There are plenty of simple silhouettes with broad appeal just waiting to be discovered here.

Take the Barker Chair ($1,080), for instance. A sculpted nettle wood frame cradles cushions made of top-grain leather, velvet, or other textiles, all in neutral shades like camel, brandy, and deep blue-gray. The Hendrix End Table ($300), which looks like a solid hunk of reclaimed fruitwood, is as simple as it gets without being boring in the slightest. The Piper Sideboard ($1,250) features a Scandinavian-inspired design with cone-tapered legs and bronze hardware, and the Brady Metal Cabinet ($1,795) makes a dramatic statement in black iron with glass doors.

Sectionals are highly functional, and Magnolia’s fall collection has plenty to choose from, including the lovely and practical Arthur 2-Piece Chaise Sectional ($2,790). And if smaller sofas are more your jam, the Daphne ($1,950) oozes glamour without taking it overboard.

Big pieces like furniture make the biggest impact, of course, but smaller decorative items are what really bring in some personality. Magnolia’s fall collection has plenty of those, too, in the form of dried floral bouquets, vases, mirrors, candlesticks, photo frames, baskets, throw blankets, wall art, and more. Many of these items exude the same simple but sophisticated vibe as the furniture, but there are definitely fun prints, patterns, and textures to be found. Some standouts include the Dried Natural Platycarya Bunch ($16), the organic cotton Everly Throw ($72), and the Distressed Cement Planter ($10).

“I’ve found it to be a good and necessary endeavor to do what I can to bring a sense of the season into our home,” Joanna says. “I want the shift that’s naturally occurring to be mirrored by the look and feel of our spaces.”

Our new fall collection welcomes warm colors, natural textures, and organic movement, giving us new ways to intentionally embrace the daily rhythms of the season. As you browse this assortment, it’s our sincere hope that you’ll be able to fully envision all the best things about fall — leaves changing colors, recipes meant for sharing, and cozy evenings with family at home.”

If you’re anywhere near Waco, Texas, you can see it all in person at Magnolia Home, the newest space at Magnolia Market at the Silos. Located behind the Magnolia Press Coffee Co., the spacious showroom and store provides plenty of inspiration for integrating these fall pieces into your own interiors.
