An innocuous little black box when not in use, the act of simply sitting on this stool converts it into a complete chair with back and arm rests.

French designer Arthur Bodolec envisions this object as part of an ongoing series of furniture items that are essentially touch-activated – inert when not in use, but dynamic when pressure and/or weight are applied.
