Lenny Kravitz

Rocker Lenny Kravitz founded his conceptual creative studio Kravitz Design in 2003, and its longevity attests to the fact that it’s no vanity project: he’s actually really good at this. His most recent collection for CB2 was released last fall, and it’s “informed by the global lifestyle of a rock star, curiosity of a wanderer, and creativity of an artist.” Standouts include a velvet sectional with a bentwood frame, the Paseo Wood Media Credenza featuring African-inspired line work, and rattan pendant lights.

Drew Barrymore

Of all celebrities to design their own furniture and decor, Drew Barrymore has probably had the most success creating stuff people actually want at prices they can afford. Released through Walmart’s sites (including Hayneedle and Jet), Drew Barrymore Flower Home is exactly what you’d expect: playful, cheerful, and sometimes even a little kooky. A platform bed decked out in a pink vintage floral print, a set of woven vases, and shell-shaped bookends exemplify the vibe, and fans really seem to love her velvet couches.

Diane Keaton

Diane Keaton teamed up with Perigold and design brand Aidan Gray to create a collection of lighting that draws from the iconic actress’s personal style and her own home. Clashing black and white prints and oversized silhouettes make a bold statement, and the pieces are unlike anything you’ll find anywhere else. “Everyone has a designer in them,” Keaton says. “Go with your impulses. Express what you love.”

Gwyneth Paltrow

In terms of media attention, Gwyneth Paltrow’s brand goop has probably eclipsed her acting career at this point. How could it not, with items like a candle called “This Smells Like My Vagina”? While most of goop’s merchandise is a curated selection of items made by other brands, Paltrow has also designed some furniture and decor herself, including a collaboration with CB2. Pieces include dinner plates printed with birds and cherry blossoms, shearling chairs, sculptural coffee tables, and pink velvet sofas.

Reese Witherspoon

Though Reese Witherspoon’s brand Draper James typically focuses on clothing and accessories, it also includes items for the home, mostly in the form of textiles. Full of gingham, denim, floral prints, and wine glasses that say things like “cheers y’all,” the collection is very proper Southern Americana. Her pieces have also been sold through retailers like Land’s End and Crate & Barrel.

Ellen DeGeneres

Did you have any clue that Ellen DeGeneres had her own line of furniture and decor? ED by Ellen “is an extension of my lifestyle and is inspired by who I am as a person,” says the former talk show host. “ED is things that I see as a necessity, and things that are playful, too. ED is design that I want to share with everyone.” Pieces include minimalist wooden chairs handcrafted in the USA, chandeliers, patterned rugs, sleek bathroom vanities, and more.

Lauren Conrad

Best known for starring in early 2000s reality television series The Hills, Lauren Conrad launched her home decor brand LC Lauren Conrad in 2009. Consisting of items like dinnerware, candlesticks, serving platters, vases, and throw pillows, the collection’s aesthetic is sort of “elder Millennial who feels too old to shop at Urban Outfitters is now taking a look around Kohl’s.” In fact, Kohl’s is exactly where you’ll find it. Conrad says “My inspiration for LC Lauren Conrad Home came from my love of California coastal design, which is simple and light, yet beautiful, effervescent, and memorable.”

Lionel Richie

If you’re too young to know who Lionel Richie is, you probably at least know the most famous line from his most famous song, “Hello, is it me you’re looking for?” Well, if it’s celebrity-designed bedding you’re looking for, Richie can deliver.
