It looks like smooth marble or textured granite, feels like rugged stone and stands up to wear and tear in a way that makes it hard to believe it is made of glass, one of the most notoriously fragile materials on the planet. Sinks, tubs, walls, floors and even heavy-duty exterior building surfaces can be covered in this incredible shatter-proof stuff.

Produced in various shades of green, blue, aqua and white, these composite materials reflect their origins as conventional glass bottles in terms of color but also in shape – you can actually see that these surfaces were once part of a round glass drinking containers.
