Somehow the structure manages to maintain a degree of modernism through simple lines and volumes and minimalist detailing, despite the contrasting and lively weathered, worn and rusticated look of the wood that permeates the interior and exterior of this home.
Similarly, a blend of cozy and contemporary color schemes, furniture, furnishings and fixtures makes the interior work as both a modern residence with a distinctly comfortable and traditional feel to it.
