Spinning Side Table Hides Stuff Below its Plain-Sight Surface

An elegant solution to hiding storage in plain site, this lovely little design works entirely with hidden mechanisms – no handles, pulls, levers, latches, hinges or screws visible on its exterior.

Inside, a secret screw-up, screw-down mechanism lets you spin the compartment down below the level of the tabletop to access what is inside, then spin it back up with a similarly simple motion.

Designer Marc Venot has degrees in everything from industrial design to applied math and physics and plastics – his elegantly-engineered furniture objects show off this diversity of skills and understandings.
