You know they are just waiting for you to go to sleep so they can slip that book out from under their pillow, and while you might not want to outright encourage breaking curfew a little light reading never hurt, right?

Designer Se-Hwan Oh created these half-lamp cushions, indented for a variety of comfortable reading positions, with late-night reading in mind.

The upper half is entirely opaque so the illumination is focused downward and does not get in your eyes, or can be turned upward and away from the body to see around as needed. The cord seems cumbersome, though – hopefully the next version will come with a wireless power supply.
