Ribbed Tape Rolls Remember Your Spot & Won’t Roll Away

“Wait, where did you put the tape? Oh, there it is, but … you didn’t fold over the end? Great.” While not a life-threatening or world-ending, it can be a pain to try and find where you left off with the last piece, torn or cut, that has re-adhered itself to the roll.

Everyday problem, simple solution: a series of simple ribs like sin curves oscillating along an otherwise-circular circumference, for quickly spotting and easily lifting the next strip of tape with stick-free ease.

Concept by┬áDeockeun An, Jaehyung Kim & Cheolwoong Seo, and submitted for a Sparks Award – wish them luck!
