Naturalistic Chair aka: Mushrooms Ate My Furniture

If you’re looking for outdoor furniture that fits right in with the woods and wildlife, look no further than ‘mushrooms ate my furniture’ by Shinwei Rhoda Yen. The artist crafts natural wood outdoor furniture and then inlays it with fungus spores.

Yen explains that the furniture will eventually break down and decompose as the mushrooms take hold. Not exactly sustainable furniture, but certainly “green” in its ability to decompose. If termites are getting boring, you might try out mushroom furniture.
