Literalist Flat-Pack Chair Cleverly Spells Out the Obvious


This Chair Chair by Eric Ku is a none-to-difficult-to-explain conceptual furniture design – one could almost say the project speaks for itself.


Impossible to make symmetrical due to the available letters it is nonetheless impressive that he was able to come up with a functional chair design from pieces shaped like the letters that represent the object of the design – one has to wonder what other works could be done this way.


Along similar lines is his flat wall lamp design, a very simple printout of a conventional-looking classic table lamp with a bulb tucked up behind it – somehow both thought-provoking and aesthetically pleasing.
