Legless Table Self-Supports With Resin, Without Legs

This strange self-supporting table cloth design is somewhat haunting – after all, doesn’t a table have to have legs or, well, a table for that matter? Not so in this case. Resin makes the cloth itself sturdy enough to support not only itself but also objects placed on it.

As this technology improves, one could imagine a whole house full of such ghostly furniture and completely devoid of the normal structural elements we associate with furniture building. On the other hand, this could just be another design novelty and ultimately a passing trend.
